Welcome Two New Teachers & Four New Classes!

Join us in welcoming Mary and Ken! Both are seasoned and accomplished dance instructors and we are excited about what they have to bring to the team!

Mary is teaching Tap & Jazz on Monday’s at 5:00 & 6:00 and Ken is teaching Ballet on Wednesdays at 5:00 and Contemporary on Thursdays at 5:30. Click on “Registration/Tuition” and find out how to register now.

Both Mary and Ken are also personal fitness trainers and are available for scheduling one-on-one fitness sessions as well as private dance lessons in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical & Modern.

Hot News: Miraj is not only an incredible Hip-Hop teacher/dancer, but also recently recorded with Samie Foxx...debut song, “Don’t Hate Me”, which was recently released to the radio. Miraj also has a music video he recently recorded that is to be aired on MTV/VH1. He was chosen as one of Steve Harvey’s “Hotties of the Month” on his national syndicated radio talk show! Way to go Miraj !

Every Thursday night you can start the night off getting your steps right with host of the evening, Sarita, in her Salsa/Hustle lesson at 7pm. ($90 for 6-classes; includes 6 entries from 8pm - midnight)

Ashley Allen has been training here at Virtuous Productions as well as teaching Hip-Hop, Jazz & Ballroom for the past year. She has been working hard to reach her goal to become a Miami Heat Dancer. Last year she made it to boot camp and this year she’s determined to go all-the-way!
She has been attending the Heat Clinics and Pre-Boot Camp Workouts for the past three weeks and felt ready for the tryouts. This past Sunday, August 3, she went in on a mission to “get it done”; and that she did!

There were 201 dancers competing for 29 spots to go to Boot Camp and Ashley was chosen as one of the 29. Monday-Friday of this week is Boot Camp; culminating in a Spectacular Show the dancers put on this Friday at 7pm at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino’s club called “Spirits”. This is the last portion of the audition for the final 2008-2009 spots for the most popular dance team in the NBA, the Miami Heat.

The Show is open to the public so feel free to come and show your support for Ashley! Show starts at 7pm, Friday, August 8th at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino

Two Week Summer Break at V.P.

August 4-16 is our Summer Break at V.P. All our group classes, except Zumba are cancelled during the two week break.

“Virtuous Nites”, Salsa/Hustle night with D.J. Greg T. will break for two weeks as well, or until further notice.

During these two weeks we are open for private lessons by appointment only. You can also call 561-750-6700 and leave a message, as we will be picking up messages twice a day and returning calls.

August 18 our new Fall Schedule will be posted and registration for the Fall Semester will begin. It will include a Children’s Ballroom Program. Stay tuned for the unveiling!

Millennium Dance Sport Championship-Results:

Joanne Landon took 2nd place in the open gold championship! She took 1st place in each of her individual dances: Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep.
June Rudolph took IV place in the open gold scholarship S.R., VI place in open gold scholarship, IV place in the open 3-dance challenge. June placed 1st in al her individual dances: Waltz,Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep.
Patricia Walker took 1st place in her open silver Waltz.
Cynthia Hoogendoorn danced in the open Bronze - Rhythm. She took 2nd place in her individual dances of: Cha Cha, Rumba, Bolero, Swing and 1st place in Mambo. Cynthia also danced in the open bronze standard and took VI place in her individual dances of: Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep. She took home an open Bronze Scholarship as well.
